1. What NexCandle is (and isn't)

NexCandle is a trading journal and analytics tool. It helps you record, review, and reflect on your trades. That's it.

NexCandle is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, or broker. Nothing on this platform — including AI-generated insights, statistics, or pattern analysis — constitutes financial or investment advice.

We make no guarantee of profit. Trading is inherently risky. Past performance visible in your journal does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use NexCandle.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person — accounts are not transferable.
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, whether or not you authorized it.

3. Fair use

Use NexCandle for what it's built for. The following are not allowed:

• Automated bots, scrapers, or scripts that access the platform programmatically without prior consent.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code.
• Using the platform to store or transmit illegal content.
• Sharing your account credentials with others to circumvent subscription limits.
• Any activity that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with other users.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate fair use without prior notice. In clear-cut cases (bots, scraping, abuse) we won't hesitate to act.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Monthly plans renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then.
• Annual plans are a one-time payment for 12 months of access. Annual plans do not auto-renew. When your annual period ends, your account downgrades to the free tier unless you manually renew.
• Prices are listed in EUR and may be subject to local VAT depending on your location. The amount shown at checkout is what you pay.

5. Refund policy

We do not offer refunds for periods that have already been used. If you cancel a monthly plan mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the period — but that period is not refunded.

If you believe you were charged in error, reach out to hello@nexcandle.com and we'll look into it. We handle edge cases with common sense.

6. Your content

You own your data. The trades, journal entries, notes, and files you add to NexCandle are yours.

By storing content on NexCandle, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We don't use your trading data to train models, sell to third parties, or for any purpose other than running the product.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance windows, unexpected outages, or infrastructure issues may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for losses — financial or otherwise — resulting from downtime.

8. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these terms (especially the fair use section).
• Your payment fails and cannot be recovered after reasonable attempts.
• We detect fraudulent or abusive activity on your account.

In cases of serious violations, suspension may be immediate. For billing issues, we'll contact you first before taking action.

9. Limitation of liability

NexCandle is provided "as is". We are not liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, or financial damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of NexCandle after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
